黑椒金菇肥牛卷
(食譜來源: 肥家私房菜)
we bought some very good quality 雪花肥牛 from our local supermarket.. made this dish very yummy!!
材料: 雪花肥牛 半包、金菇 1包
黑椒汁 (大約): 李錦記黑椒汁 3湯匙、糖 3 茶匙、生抽 1茶匙、鹽 少許、水 2碗
(i didn't add 鹽 as i don't want it to be too salty..)
茨汁: 粟粉 2茶匙、水 2茶匙
做法:
1. 將肥牛解凍. 金菇洗淨, 切去根部, 瀝乾
2. 肥牛輕輕抺乾, 卷上金菇或芽菜或甘荀條, 壓實封口, 卷好備用
3. 少少油開鑊, 先將封口位向下煎, 變色後才反去煎另一面, 煎至變色便取起備用
4. 將黑椒汁爆香, 加入水/糖/鹽/生抽煮滾, 記得試味, 因每人口味不同
5. 將粟粉+水拌勻, 倒入, 煮至適合杰度, 熄火
6. 將牛肉放入, 讓醬汁上牛肉卷便成

environment very classy & comfy.. unlike the other jap AYCE..
they also have thai food ayce.. & most of their thai food were good!
the only disappointing thing is that they didn't have desserts on the menu..

..it's pretty good.. very rich in ingredients, & it's real spicy + sour
Thai Lemongrass Mushroom Soup
..it's actually enoki mushroom, just so-so..

..seaweed salad, & it's as usual.. good

Butter Fish & Salmon Sashimi
Ika & Salmon Tataki
Saba (Mackerel) & White Tuna

..very good.. it's more tender than the normal ones.. i believe they were the good quality ones.. definitely better than those frozen ones..

11 of us went here for Winterlicious.. it's $35 with t&t.. even though the environment was a bit too loud, we still had a wonderful night & we all enjoyed it..
Wild Mushroom Soup
wild & tame mushrooms, gougére, mushroom broth
..a strong mushroom flavor.. a very good starter.. not too rich..
Atlantic Salmon
grilled salmon, leek, asparagus & grape tomato sauté, all-crust potato gratin, pea shoots, cider vinaigrette
..i'm surprised at myself that i could finish the whole dish.. i love the potato gratin.. the salmon was made just right -- not overcooked..
Schnitzel
panko crusted veal cutlets, grilled asparagus, Yukon mash, tomato jam, lemon caper emulsion, veal reduction
T-Bone Burger
10 oz. char-grilled Kobe beef & ground sirloin, charred red onion, double smoked bacon, vine ripe tomato, iceberg lettuce, “Bier 58” sauce, toasted classic bun, Mart frites
..most of them couldn't finish the whole plate.. it's just a lot!!
