the thing i like most about having Korean food is.. there are many different appetizers.. & i'm so happy to see 9 different appetizers here.. so many varieties!!! i like the 海帶 kelp most!

..i like this one.. Pork Bone Meat very tender.. & the soup tasted good.. not too spicy.. LG said it's not spicy at all..

..very spicy with a hint of sweet taste.. i guess that's the flavor of the Korean spicy sauce.. i like this one too.. the Rice Cake Sticks were chewy..
Jellied Soft Tofu Stewed in Hot Spicy Broth with Seafood & Vegetables $6.99
..this one was just so-so.. it's supposed to be spicy but not really.. very rich in ingredients though..
Stewed Cornish Hen Stuffed with Garlic, Cloves, Ginseng, Dates & Sweet Rice 蔘雞湯 (Half) $10.99
..not much Ginseng flavor..

there is another branch on Yonge & Finch.. this is their 2nd branch..

I like the Yonge/Finch much better!
Tried their gamjatang a few months ago, found the soup to be really oily with a strong sesame taste...not good, could not finish it I'm afraid.
What is weird because the first time I went I had their pot rice and it was alright.

Summary: Dirty and Bad Service
I have been to this restaurant a few times but tonight, for sure, was the last time for me and my friends. To start off, the appetizer they served was very dirty, it had a bug in the food. And when we asked the waiters for bowls, they gave us dirty bowls (with kimchi sauce on it, for sure they didn’t wash them thoroughly). At when we finished our meal, the waitress immediately handed us the bill (which we didn’t even ask for it). We paid the bill and tipped them well, and my friends and I would like to sit there for 5-10 mins just to finish up our tea and wait for our rides. However, right after they got our money, the waitress asked us to leave because they have other customers waiting. We told the waitress that we want to sit there for another 5-10 mins cause we need to wait for our rides, then she walked away looking upset. After another 1-2 mins, another waiter came to our table and asked us to leave again. My friends and I were very upset at that point because we already told the other waitress we just need another 5-10 mins, we didn’t expect them to be so rude and came to ask us to leave again. And at the same, another waiter also came to our table and asked us to leave. My friends and I feel extremely offended and we left the restaurant right away. Don’t go to this restaurant, they don’t deserve to get any customers.
i'm soooo sorry to hear about your bad experience!! but thx for sharing.. i really hate to see bug in food!! so disgusting!! i think i'll tip off my friends re this..
hope that u won't have to suffer anymore re food.. food is supposed to make us happy! :)
