been here twice.. was a bit pricy.. food was just so-so..

..LG said the 石鍋飯 at 森石 is better.. 哈哈!

came here earlier in January & took some shots with my phone (not so clear pictures).. our first impression was.. "it (the noodle) was a big bowl!!"
(left) Spicy Soup Ramen $7.5
..the soup base is good..
(right) 豬軟骨拉麵 Tenderous Ribs Ramen $9.95
..the soup had a 薑醋味, which we didn't like it.. it didn't match with the 豬軟骨拉麵!!!
炎三文魚腩卷 Salmon Belly Tataki Roll $9.95
..with Salmon belly, deep dried shrimp, crab meat, cucumber, avocado, masago
..this combination was pretty good..

It's funny how this place has the same chinese name as Ichimoto (一本料理) at Hwy 7 and Bayview. But I don't think they're related. Sometimes I get confused with the two. :)
Oh by the way, I noticed that there are so many karaokes printed on the placemats at Ippai. I wonder if they are owned by the same people?
I really like the variety of unique rolls that they have on their menu. I recommend their Strawberry Roll..they taste pretty interesting.
