we had a FANTASTIC dinner tonite.. all 4 of us liked it!!
their Daily Soup was a cold soup that day.. it's Melon & Papaya Chill Soup.. LG said it tasted like watermelon.. he liked it..
the reason of having French food was because i suddenly want to have Foie Gras..
TERRINE DE FOIE GRAS
..it's perfect!! AC tried it & he kept saying it would be great with red wine..
it's served with the 金桔絲 too..
CHOUCROUTE GARNIE
marinated cabbage braised in white wine, with pork hock, pork side, strasbourg & smoked Montbeliard sausages
..it's with many different meat..
JOUE DE BCEUF BOURGUIGNONNE
beef cheek braised in red wine, with pork lardons & button mushrooms, on a pasnip puree with sweet potato chips
.."beef cheek" is something new to us.. LG said it's very tender.. tasted very good..
CONFIT DE CANARD
duck legs confit with crispy skin, served with green beans & potatoes au gratin
..the duck legs confit was crispy on the outside but very tender inside.. & i love the potatoes.. i'm not fond of potatoes & usually won't finish it.. but this one tasted very good! it tasted creamy & had cheese in it.. & the portion was fairly big..
& the dessert was very nice.. it's homemade Lychee sorbet.. not very sour.. very refreshing..
since it's my b-day, my sorbet was free..
our dinner was great!! we all love it!! highly recommend it!!
on our way back home, we saw fireworks while driving on QEW.. & it was sooo close!! so beautiful!!

It seems like a great place for great food, but was the price expensive? How much was it overall?
i remember we paid about $180 for 4 ppl.. i think the price is reasonable with this high quality of food.. ^_^

It was very good. We had a soup, fois gras, beef cheek and duck leg. I almost couldn’t finish the duck, it's very tender.
