臭豆腐 Stinky Tofu $6.99
..this is a new item.. smaller size comparing to that in other restaurants, but it's good coz can eat in one bite..

here are the sauces for the sticky tofu.. the traditional Taiwanese style is to eat with Soy Sauce + Hot Sauce, while HK ppl like itwith Hoisin Sauce..

大雞扒湯麵 Fried Chicken Fillet w/ Noodle Soup $8.99
..LG liked that it's the thin noodles..

八寶辣醬麵線 Flour Vermicelli w/ Spicy 8 Treasures $8.99
..it's with dry noodles (no soup base).. but it went well with the "Spicy 8 Treasures"..

having read so much about this place on Gracie's blog, we decided to pay a visit & try it ourselves.. the AYCE dinner is $20.95 + t&t.. i think the food were ok..

we bought a deal for the Afternoon Tea @ Windsor Arms Hotel.. which was pretty good..
prices are as follows: Monday to Friday $30.00 /person, Saturday & Sunday $38.00/person, Holidays Times $43.00 /person

it's a small tea room.. the table/sitting were a bit tight.. it could barely fit all of our tea sets on the tables, together with the utensils..

for the Afternoon Tea, we've got to choose a pot of Loose-Leaf Teas..
..i chose Earl Gry with Roses (Ceylon, Bergamot & Roses) & LG chose Chai Arms (Ceylon, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger & Black Pepper)..
& each of us had 2 scones, 1 quiche, 6 sandwiches, 2 pastries.. + berries..

Fresh Scones with Preserves and Devon Cream & Goat Cheese and Caramelized Shallot Tart
..the scones were very 鬆化..

(top) Smoked Salmon and Wasabi Sour Cream with Salmon Caviar &

..love all of them.. esp. the smoked salmon one..

洋蔥磨菇湯 Onion & Mushroom Soup

洋蔥磨菇湯 Onion & Mushroom Soup

i love this soup as it's healthier than the canned Mushroom Soup, yet tasted just as yummy!



材料: Mushroom 750g (切薄片), Onion 1個 (切絲), Garlic 2 粒 (切碎), Olive oil 1 tsp, 雞湯粒 1 粒, Black pepper 少許, Salt 少許, Thyme 少許

1. 下 Olive oil, 先將 Garlic 碎炒香, 再下洋蔥絲, 炒至偏金黃色 及 散發出香味

2. 加入磨菇片一齊炒, 期間要小心太乾身而黏鑊底, 可以加點水, 到磨菇片開始縮水, 便可以加入雞湯粒, 適量的水以及Thyme ! 到這步驟, 只要細火滾數分鐘, 令磨菇及洋蒽絲都軟身, 便可以熄火.

3. 將磨菇湯倒入攪拌機, 打碎至理想程度. 想要滑身一點, 便將攪拌時間加長一點, 不過如若喜歡有點咬口的, 便只將磨菇打至粗粒好了

4. 最後再磨菇湯倒回煲中, 再翻滾, 這時候便要用 salt & pepper 去作最後調味了

小貼示 : 若意外地在煲湯過程中, 加入了過量水份, 便可以用適量麵粉來 thicken 磨菇湯, 但最緊要先用少量水來跟麵粉混和, 才加進湯中

4. 可以留下幾片磨菇作裝飾

..i love it.. the best 海南雞飯 in town.. 雞去了骨..香滑, 嫩雞肉.. 油飯不油膩.. 有椰香..
 
桂林米粉 $6.75
..味道酸酸的..  十分開胃..

改良擔擔麵 Tan Tan Noodle in New Style $6.99
..the soup base was not as thick as the normal one.. so for those who like not too rich soup base, this would be the choice..

印尼雞扒炒飯 Chicken Steak on Fried Rice in Indoesia Style $7.99
..it's on the Special menu on the wall.. it came with coffee/tea..

梅菜扣肉飯
..again, this is the BEST i've ever tried.. but i only saw it once or two times on their Daily Special menu.. & they don't have it anymore since end of last year!! (i took this picture while i was eating it.. too yummy & almost forgot to take pic..)

紅燒牛肉麵

咖哩汁手打牛滑飯 Beef Slip w/ Curry Sauce on Rice $7.25
..手打牛滑 tasted VERY good.. they were chewy.. & their curry sauce was great!

焗茄汁豬扒飯 Baked Pork Chop w/ Tomato Sauce on Rice $7.5
..very Hong Kong style.. 豬扒鬆化有肉汁..

we still go there every week.. hee hee..

LG wanna to try this restuarant for a while.. & we finally made it!!
a little disappointed as they didn't have Amaebi, Hamachi, Uni, & Crab Kanimiso, we would really love to try those!! anyway.. the food were great in general.. waitress is attentive.. & she changed our plates three times during our meal..

Mussel Mori Mori Soup $6.95
Light sake soy flavored mussel & tomato soup with a hint of butter taste
..LG liked it.. the tomato flavor made it very appetizing.. & it has 5 mussels!!

Octopus Wasabi Takowasa $3.5
Fresh raw octopus marinated with chopped wasabi roots
..chewy octopus dices.. loved it..

Squid Mentai $4
Squid Sashimi marinated with Pollock roe
..it depends if u like Pollock roe.. i'm ok & we loved how they cut the sashimi into thin slices..

Scallop Sashimi
..of course, this is LG's fav..

Salmon Lover $9
Salmon sashimi served in three ways
..Salmon was fresh & yummy..




Blowtorched Mackerel $9
Vinegar-pickled mackerel - a choice of blowtorched, grilled or sashimi style
..we liked the way they presented it.. the waitress blowtorched it in front of us.. i always like mackerel while LG doesn't really like it.. but LG liked this one too..


Sweet Shrimp Karaage (2 pcs) $3.5
Crispy fried whole sweet shrimps seasoned with sea salt. Enjoy a whole shrimp from head to tail!

Juicy Pork Belly Skewer (1pcs) $3
..LG said it's nothing special.. i think it's juicy.. but not top of our list..

Takoyaki Octopus Balls $5.75
Crispy deep fried octopus balls with dancing bonito flakes, served the old fashioned way

Pressed Colorful Sushi $10
Pressed sushi with diced sashimi and assorted fresh vegetables
..you can cut your own sushi.. into the shape you want..


we had the cheesecake as dessert.. but i guess we'll skip it next time..
