the food was very fresh.. & some of them were very special (like the Screwdriver Maki)..

celebrating LG's birthday at lunch.. we went to Linda at the new plaza on Don Mills.. service was excellent.. as we were served by our friend, who is a waiter there.. hee hee..

we ordered 2 set lunch.. mine was the Green Curry Chicken..
..i like the curry.. not too spicy.. very good to eat with rice or bread..

LG had the beef dish.. (forgot the name..)

it's in heart shape..

we enjoyed the lunch very much even though the food was a bit pricey..

the service is good here.. the servers r very nice & attentive..

..very fresh sashimi.. & as u can see, their Amaebi is 牡丹蝦, but not the small 甜蝦..

Isaki Sashimi 伊佐木 $35 (2 eats+soup)

..it came directly from Japan.. the sashimi was thinly sliced..

this one is "thicker" & can feel the "texture" of the fish.. we like this one better..

..the soup was yummy.. usually with those fish soups, they put a lot of miso in it & almost cover the fish taste.. but this one has a strong fish flavor, with lots of veggie ingredients.. & it's in a large pot..

we have 10% discount because of their grand opening..

& total was $65.83 incl. tax..

very full & yummy dinner!!

we'll definitely come to try another fresh fish next time..

Z&A told us about this AYCE Jap food in downtown, & we paid a visit on a Friday after work.. i arrived earlier & walked around Scotia Plaza.. everything was closed except just one or two shops.. but there were still many customers in the restaurant..

the food was better than most of the AYCE Jap food uptown.. & they have Ika Sushi for AYCE which pretty impressed me... as most of the AYCE don't offer this.. i only have Ika in Prince Sushi AYCE..
