we went out of town during New Year & stayed at Delta Grandview Resort.. we always stayed at Deerhurst & thought we should try Delta this time.. but i guess we'll go back to Deerhurst next time.. haha..
anyway, we had dinner at the resort & it was not bad..
first came an appetizer on the house.. it's a puff with mushroom & brie.. i liked it!
then we had selection of bread & olive oil..
Soup to begin.. Roasted Grenville Farm Tomato Bisque, infused with Goats Cheese..
..i liked Tomato Bisque so this one was good!
Appetizer was Lime Scented Grilled & Chilled Jumbo Tiger Shrimp, Exotic Lettuces, Sweet Chili & Mango Dip
..shrimp was good.. but it's not a good idea to have cold appetizer in such a cold weather..
Mango Champagne Sorbet
Medallions of Canadian Angus Beef Tenderloin, Accompanied by Garlic Yukon Gold Mash Potatoes & Wild Mushroom Stilton Demi
Seafood Risotto, Sauteed Scallops, Jumbo Shrimp, Scallions, Roasted Local Garlic, Lighly Drizzled with Truffle Infused Oil & Dusted with Freshly Grated Parmesan
..the seafood tasted fresh, though i didn't like the sauce for the risotto..
(left) Decadent Molten Chocolate & Raspberry Torte, Frangelio Scented Cream
(right) Bailey's Creme Brule, Caramelized Sugar Crust, Milk Chocolate Dipped Spoon
