wanna go to this restaurant many times but every time we came up with some other ideas.. so this time, we needed to eat nearby & i immediately thought of this restaurant.. (it was used to be JP2).. the decor changed a bit but the setting seems to be the same, except no oyster bar anymore.. but still with comfy sofa..

the waitress brought us this "snack" right after we were seated.. it's like those that came with the snake soup (蛇羹) when u eat at chinese restaurant.. (sorry that i dunno how to name it..)

it took us a while before we could decide on what to eat..

Lemon Chicken Soup (Tom Yum Kai) 冬蔭雞湯
it's Silvers of tender chicken breast float in a lemony broth featuring fresh white mushrooms, lemon grass, lime leaves & fresh lemon juice..
..it tasted good.. did have the sour AND spicy flavors.. unlike some other restaurants which their soup was either spicy OR sour..

Royal Fried Rice 蟹皇三寶炒飯
Lump crab meat, crab roes & crab paste stir-fried with jasmine rice, egg & crisp vegetables
..the crab paste really mixed well with the rice so the taste was a bit different than the "fried rice" we had in chinese restaurants.. & the portion was really big..

Goldn Ox Tail 金黃咖喱牛尾
Tender morsels of ox tail slow cooked in golden yellow curry with yams, potatoes & onion
..it's one of their signature dishes.. LG liked it as he said the Ox Tail was very tender & 「入味」.. & it came with a bowl of rice..

their service was good, very attentive..
i'll definitely come again with more friends so that we can try more of their signature dishes, e.g. Coconut Chicken Soup..
