Ruth's Chris Steak House

Ruth's Chris Steak House
Address: 145 Richmond Street West, Toronto (Richmond & University)
Phone: (416) 955-1455

since LG loves steak, so we went here to celebrate his big day.. it's located in Downtown Hilton Hotel.. as we were outside the hotel, we had to take an elevator down the restaurant, which is located just next to Hilton, in a separate "unit"..

on the left was how it looked inside the elevator..

we were served with bread right after we were seated.. then the server came by introducing the restaurant & some of their signature dishes.. since my cousin said the portion of the food is big here, the 3 of us decided to order 2 entrées only.. with some appetizers..
LG & i tried the Lobster Bisque.. it tasted good.. the "thickness" was just right..

& we also ordered the Sizzlin’ Blue Crab Cakes.. which were Two jumbo lump crab cakes with sizzling lemon butter.. this one was fabulous.. unlike the Crab Cakes we had in other places, these were not "breaded".. it seemed like we were eating a crab.. each bite was full of crabmeat.. we were guessing that it's baked in oven instead of deep frying.. YUMMY!!!!!

in between courses, the server would come & clean the table a bit.. & the food came very fast.. since we were sharing the entrées, we were each given a heated plate, with butter on it.. it was very hot & u can still "cook" the meat on the plate..

we had a hard time deciding on what kind of beef we should try.. (in fact, i don't eat beef..) it's LG & mom that couldn't decide it.. Steak, Ribeye, Fillet, etc. etc.. & they finally went for the Ribeye.. but it turned out that it's not what they "intended" to order.. they wanted to try the one on Ruth's Chris' ad (which LG found out at last that it's actually the Fillet).. anyway, the Ribeye tasted good.. the other entrée was Lamb Chops.. there were three chops cut extra thick..
here r the side dishes that we ordered.. Mashed Potatoes & Sautéed Mushroom.. it's really for sharing.. big in portion.. we couldn't even finished the mashed potatoes.. so our conclusion is.. no need to order any side dishes if we wanna try appetizers..

LG was given a free cake as it's his big day.. & it's a Chocolate Sin Cake.. with Chocolate & Espresso.. it's like bittersweet chocolate.. tasted good! & there was a special offer if paying with mastercard, we could choose two desserts as compliments.. so we had another Chocolate Sin Cake & we tried the Key Lime Pie..
